With the aid of some simple keyword analysis and a few basic Search Engine Optimisation tips (which I will go into later) I managed to increase the average Page Impressions (PI's) from 3500 to over 50000 in a little over 2 months. These are the tools I used for the SEO and other parts of the relaunch.

I have put up a pre-alpha version of my first application which is built using CodeIgniter. It is a project management application and will be free....well it is already, I just wouldn't use it at the moment ;-)

Ive just created my first snippet. I am working on a new template because Ive flogged this one to death. One of the things I wanted to integrate was a sub menu this time instead of using the CSS menu you see here. My first thoughts were "What about if the current document has not got any child documents"?

It looks like flashmxfiles.com has finally passed away. A sad day, it was where I found most of my answers when I started learning Flash & ActionScript back in about 2002. It was a great community and you could always guarantee an answer from Warangel, K-dog, tanenbaumm or bprc.

Embedding flash used to be a bit of a chore...you had to use 2 different tags to cover all browsers and it wasnt very easy (I used to do it in Dreamweaver and then copy and paste)...

Whilst trying to decide which CMS /CMF to use, I found Open Source CMS a great help. It allows you to get a feel for numerous open source projects ranging from Bloggers like Wordpress to CMS through to E-commerce solutions like Zen Cart and osCommerce ...and a lot more in between!
